Receive from God.

Thesis: What is happening in this world

God is not happy with people calling evil good and good evil.

This is serious.

Romans 8:37

Daniel 10:1-13

Point #1: There is a double kingdom system.

There is a seen kingdom (verse 1) and an unseen kingdom. (Verse 13)

Luke 4:5-7 (seen world)

The devil is not in the seen world but he influences the seen world.

Satan is a liar.

If Satan has power over a land, as he claims, where did he get it?

Adam’s original sin.

Genesis 1:26 God initially meant for humans to have dominion over the earth including all plants and animals.

But then Adam sinned. Genesis 3. He committed high treason and gave over human’s dominion over the earth, over to Satan.

2 Corinthians 4:4 the Bible says Satan who is the god of this world, have blinded the minds of those who doesn’t believe.

John 12:33. Refers to Satan as the ruler of this world.

Ephesians 2:2. Refers to the devil as the commander of the powers of the unseen world, and is at work in the hearts of those who refuse to obey God.

Point #2: Satan cannot rule over (informed, knowledgeable) believers.

John 17:16 Jesus says: “believers do not belong to this world any more than I do.”

Colossians 1:12-13

1 John 5:19. We are the children of God and the world is under the control of the evil one.

Point #3: Believers have power over Satan.

This is good news.

1 John 4:4. You belong to God. You already have victory over people under the influence of the devil, because the Holy Spirit who lives in you is greater than the spirit who lives in the world.

Isaiah 54:17 no weapon forged (or formed) against you will prosper……

Ephesians 6:12 we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against powers and principalities….

Ephesians 6:13 take on the whole armor of God……

You can do this! But put on God’s armor first.

1 Corinthians 15:57

Mark 16:17 Jesus: if you believe, in My Name you will cast out devils.

Daniel didn’t see answers right away. Don’t get discouraged. Don’t give up. Break the power of evil in Jesus’ name.

Point #4: Satan influences nonbelievers.

Point #5: Unbelievers need us.
