Brief note before I share the devotional: Here is another case where the devotional part didn't quite make it to my Notes app on my phone.
Remember, when you are going through life, you don't have to go through it alone. Jesus promised His disciples the Holy Spirit, and He promises the same to anyone now who believes in Him and receives Him as their Savior, and as their Lord. This second step is critically important; you have to surrender control of your life and turn it over to Him. If you're unsure what that looks like, simply spending time reading the Bible and praying for God reveal to you what He wants you to learn and to know from it is an excellent start.
And remember, I'm preaching this to myself as much as I am preaching it to you.
“If you love Me, keep My commandments. And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever— the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you. John 14:15-17, NKJV
Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. Romans 8:26, NKJV
