Sermon message:
Thesis: Think on these things.
Philippians 4:8
Point #1: God cares about you.
1 Peter 5:7
Point #2: God wants you blessed.
John 10:10
Reminder: Jesus cannot lie. So this shows that God wants you blessed.
Point #3: God changed your citizenship.
We were born into the kingdom of darkness. But if we have received Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, God made us citizens of heaven.
Colossians 1:13
Colossians 1:14
You’ve been redeemed by the blood of the Lamb Jesus, and you’ve been changed.
Point #4: God has given you victory.
Romans 8:31
Romans 8:37 we are more than conquerors through Jesus that loves us.
Point #5: God gave you His Word.
Without His Word, we don’t know any of the other things that are true.
2 Timothy 3:15
2 Timothy 3:16 all scripture is given by God.
Romans 10:17 faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
Why is faith important? Because Mark 9:23: All things are possible to those who believe.
